The Araiguma: Advanced Battle Center

is a Pay-What-You-Can Underground Arcade , Select Shop , Hang Space & Venue — Dedicated to fighting games , rhythm and old school competitive arcade gaming .

The Arcade

We’re an arcade that caters primarily to fighting games . We support both modern and older fighting game titles as well as the very obscure or arcade exclusive .

We run regular tournaments and other types of competition .

We’re a very competitive arcade , but don’t let this be daunting . Everyone here is happy to help you level up . And we all understand those who just come for casuals . You too have a seat at the table .

Our hardware consists of arcade machines imported from Japan ( LCD and CRT-TYPE ) and ” Rollers ” which are scaled down versions of larger machines with hi-spec equipment for competitive play , that allow them to be fully mobile when needed. .

We have an ever expanding music game lineup as well . We’re always expanding where we can and when we can .

Select Shop

A Select Shop is a specialty curated shop . Where all items reflect the sensibility and interests of the owner . Everything carried is matched to the identity of the store .

A great deal of care goes into everything . From selection , origin , ingredients , taste testing , pricing ( We want to keep this stuff accessible to everyone ) and especially freshness or condition .

Hang Space

That’s what you’re supposed to do at an arcade . Hang out . That’s a huge part of it . A space for socializing , making new friends , learning new things , being a community . We even have house Chess Sets available for use .

Not everyone comes to the arcade to hang at the arcade even . We’ve become a central meeting point for friends who might be going out to the neighborhood bars , venues , events or restaurants . They meet here , and they go on to their nights .

We are well set up for it with plentiful seating and tables !

In-Store Live ( Araiguma FM )

Live DJ sets and production sets right in the middle of the arcade . Most Fridays and some Saturdays . The aim is not only entertainment and sharing music but a way to encourage and inspire others .

There are so many into music but no place to meet others to talk music . You can get up close with other artists and their gear , ask questions , and really get into it .

Araiguma FM is an homage to just one part of our roots , urban underground pirate radio .

In the books for many years , finally launched in January 2026 and we’ve got a lot to come !

Typically explained as , it could your first night out and it will feel like you’ve been regular all along . You won’t feel like an outsider here .

You could have shown up for the first time and within an hour , a group would invite you to go get dinner .

Everybody here is somebody . That’s what earns us the title of the Most Powerful Arcade in the World !

We host a service of a complete Media-Dump on our Discord dating back to December 11th, 2021 when it started . Later becoming more and more curated and the quality increasing as we upgraded our camera gear .

The reason for this archive , is so you can find photos of yourself , of the place you call your home base , and use them for your social media and sharing with family or friends .

The ” Foot Clan Collection “

The ” Foot Clan Collection ” is a namesake of the Wu-Tang Collection , a collective out of New York City that works as a massive archival collective deticated to restoring , preserving and sharing lost kung fu movies .

We are regularly importing rare and lost arcade related media that once could only be seen here at the arcade on one of our many media monitors .

Now with additional efforts to start uploading this media ( where allowed ) because we realized , this stuff truly does not exist online .
