Wednesday night has always been Good For Health Bad For Education , a weekly 3rd Strike event . Then Thursday hours are general / competitive arcade gaming and Saturday to competitive fighting games ( mostly modern ) .
Starting next Wednesday , the arcade will be fully open in the same capacity as Thursday ! Same hours , with Good For Health Bad For Education remaining unchanged !

Three events coming up and one of which those of you without the @TournamentPlayer role may be interested in ! While fighting games are what we’re most known for , that’s not all we do !
First up is the Dark Tournament – MiSTery Bracket 2 ! Two Teams , Head to Head in games randomly chosen via NFC cards !
We also have an NBA JAM TE Tournament in the planning phases ! So hit the Channels & Roles tab on the Discord and add the 🏀 NBA JAM role to be notified !
And finally , we have The Road To Combo Breaker – Round 3 ! In Guilty Gear XRD Rev 2 . Happening today ! !
Urbana Mahjong Pit :
Just a reminder , the Urbana Mahjong Pit is back to regular hours ! If you’re looking to learn , this is THE spot to do it ! If you’re into Riichi and been thinking about checking it out , stop on by and poke your head in !

NBA JAM has been upgraded to NBA JAM Tournament Edition !
Space :
You may also notice a dramatic drop in the temperature of the arcade due to HVAC work taking place to improve the efficiency of our air-conditioning system .
We are also testing new circulators to be run in The Hall to keep air moving and a great environment to hang .

We’ve resolved an issue where the player cameras on 3rd Strike would freeze . Something everyone can find useful for many types of devices :
Hardware :
In preparation for our outdoor battles , the “ Main Event Stage “ has had a new set of higher end sound set up to meet the needs of a larger space outdoor event !
Pop’n Music you may have noticed a bit of wobble . It was discovered from all the vibration from moving and gameplay that a bolt in one of the legs had loosened . This has been addressed and will no longer wobble !
Score Attack :
Shoutouts to Taizen for taking 1st place in DoDonPachi with a whopping 11, 941,120 points ! Kicking KMM down to 2nd Place at 8,594,180 points ! Prompt retaliation has been stated !
