11/16/24 – Weekly Update

General :

First thing ! We are currently operating in Manner Mode for this week and next week ( before Friendsgiving ) ! Apologies for the inconvenience 🙇‍♀️

This Saturday at 9:30PM , our Halls will open back up to hanging out , music games will also be operational at this time . This is NOT permanent and only for the dates listed above .

After November 23rd with restrictions we will be at the Old Araiguma Ruins for Friendsgiving ! After that , we will return to the arcade free from noise ( In the Hallways ) restrictions ❤️

Space :

We’re finally making some moves in the vibe department getting that Foot Clan Hideout aesthetic going again ! First with all the shirts going back up to fill in the blank areas ,

So powerful how much a strip of caution tape across a rain drainage pipe can be ,

We have also secured the two lines of power on the east wall , so there will be no more concerns of taking out the stream sitting along that area ,

And finally , we are undergoing a major lighting overhaul ! The overhead LED lights are changing over to function solely as Security / Maintenance lighting . We will not have this project completed till this Saturday due to parts delays but here is a quick preview of 1/4 of the the new lighting in !

We have also added additional lighting to the corner setup 🔥

And some padding on the edge of the duct , with caution tape for the vibes . As always , the intention is not to sit under the ducting . That space is for the monitor to not eat up sitting space . Please watch your head !

Gamesoft :

YET ANOTHER big thanks to Daniel ( Limland on the Discord , of Illini Esports FGC and our very own ) for the massive donation to King Of Fighters XV , we now have the ENTIRE roster available !

Hardware :

Donation from MK Steve ! We now have a HORI Fighting Commander OCTA as a House Controller available to those new coming out and want to learn some games !
