10/19/24 – Weekly Update

General :

We’re celebrating our first month in the Downtown Location ! Hard to believe it has only been one month but here we are ! It has been a new birth with many years of experience to work off , so we will continue to find ourselves in this new era .

With more being restored and infrastructure in place we are getting closer to being able to hold tournaments again with many upcoming planned . That said it’s Warp’s B-Day and he is running a Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code Tournament !

Space :

New open sign ! The dumpling sign is not going away ! It was never intended on being an open sign , but made for a great idea !

During the process of restoration of service we have put up many display boxes of kits built here at Araiguma Battle and are working to get a cabinet to store all tools needed for kit building sessions to resume !

Hardware :

A huge thanks to Chigs ! For the massive donation of an SCSI2SD for our second 3rd Strike board to replace the dying CD-ROM drive ! We are currently sourcing a MicroSD card to flash our other data over and install !

Main Broadcast Computer has been restored and in service again !

We would not get any boot due to a dead CMOS battery . CMOS being cleared and a new battery in place , we are booting normally now .

Gamesoft :

A huge shoutout to Daniel ( Limland on the Discord ) for the donation of KOF XV ! ! Now a supported title !

We currently have the following also donated ( Make sure to give Daniel your thanks ! ) DLC : HINAKO SHIJO, DLC Costume “CLASSIC LEONA” !

Broadcast :

Now that our main Broadcast Computer is back online , we have two additional video feeds being run . One to Station 1P-A and 2P-A ( Namco Blancs ) and the other to the ” Tunnel ” setup ( the old Main Stage ) .

It will take some time to set up new layouts for these but we will come up with something cool as we go !
