The Araiguma: Advanced Battle Center

is a pay-what-you-can grassroots Underground Arcade dedicated to fighting games , rhythm and old school competitive arcade gaming . 

Suggested entry is 5$ – 10$ – 20$ ( Even 1$ helps , or over 20$ ! )

We are primarily donation . We do not charge for entry or play . There is no age requirement for entry . This model is for those who might not otherwise be able to afford entry , so that they can be covered by the generosity of others .

This lets us operate without an outright door charge .

All machines are on free-play .

Araiguma is not just an arcade—it’s a cultural hub that redefines what it means to bring people together over games. At our core, this space  is designed with community at the forefront.

Our layout encourages social interaction—with seating and table areas surrounding , open spaces where players can gather, converse, and even strategize together.

We also have a Riichi Mahjong Club , The Urbana Mahjong Pit that meets every Saturday just down the hall here in our building !
