General:
No posts for this all year . It’s been a busy one with loooong time coming expansions and things wanted to do for 5 years now . So it’s been busy ! This is going to be a little different than the usual weekly update . A lot of catching up but not in-depth because documenting everything thus far since the last update would be . . Quite a feat . But including some big things , then updates from this week !
So where are we at ?
Space:
Upgraded the sound system . We now have a way to broadcast commentary back to the arcade . Much better sound for something noted later on in this update as well !
An outdoor speaker has been added in Haggar’s Alley ! We got live or otherwise music and commentary + player calls for those hanging outside !
Chess sets now available ! Contact staff for assistance !
A lot of lighting and decor updates ! This is an on going thing , as it always has been ! But a quick shot of how we’re looking , creating seamless lighting throughout the entire arcade !
Hardware:
The Main Stage cabs have been upgraded to 4K monitors with 200hz refresh rate ! We’re of course stuck at 1080p but cool for future titles ? Far better performance and color reproduction .
Two additional Namco Blanc’s have been added last month and this week are completed now with two player panels !
An additional , what we call ROLLERS have been added to the lineup !
Those who remember the old Main Stage from the old place ? That was hacked down to become a roller at the arcade . It was a mess but it was great . Well , the monitor failed ( again ) only this time , the repair was not viable . Took this as an opportunity to start standardizing our ROLLERS , so it’s had quite the upgrade for feel and control .
Araiguma FM :
The launch of Araiguma FM ! Which happened early this year , the music arm of Araiguma Battle . We have a whole timeline for this here if interested : Araiguma FM History
For a quick thing about this . So many of us into music , and absolutely nowhere to get together and share that passion . Or finding a way to meet others doing music and having someone you can sit down with and talk to or sit and watch do their thing and ask questions . This answers that . One side , we get to enjoy live music but can also be a part of it .
We even have house equipment for those wanting to get into Djing and don’t have their own gear yet ! Plans to expand this range are in the works . So far it’s been a big hit !
As we’re rolling into another phase of our Greater Expansion of Services Project , the warm weather approaching , it’s good to note this system is a ROLLER-TYPE as well ! Many collaborations and jams around the neighborhood coming on to keep an eye out for ! Lots of expansion ( like everything else ! ) coming for our music arm !

We overhauled the Event page . It’s been combined with the event history page . Everything is now in one single place and far more user friendly .
Discord :
New roles have been added ! New sections have been added ! We’re in the process of overhauling things . We’ve always strived to not be a generic server but a useful one , as part of our community services .
Final Thoughts :
As always , we don’t share what does not exist yet . But there are more fun things coming . We’re well into our second here at this location and reaching a point where a much greater deal of things can start happening . What those things are , in the grand scheme of things make no difference in the now . We’ve got such a world to get lost in as it is , it’s important changes and additions are made carefully with absolute thought .
