A collection of things that have been said , that say , we’re doing the right thing !

With the music especially, it’s like a Final Fight Stage

This reminds me of the Arcades in China as a kid

Old heads in the scene gotta show love, keeping the dream alive! This is the kind of shit I saw in Akihabara like smaller, neighborhood arcades and we can’t let that culture die

This place is just good for your mental health.

Yall actually building us the Foot Clan Headquarters

I would even love to just fly over there just to volunteer work and be like, You see this chair? I helped put this chair here!

After I played on the cabs , didn’t wanna play on anything else . I’m serious when I say cabs felt like we were playing a different game because of it .

I finally went to the Japanese arcade and it really just felt like Araiguma. Except they were all old Japanese men.

There’s a 900% chance the lady there will come flying up on you at the 3rd strike machine the minute you put your hands on it like

love that there’s places like this. The underground scene is a place where people can be accepted and a part of something, but without being a cult. Acceptance and belonging and being able to relate through common interests is so important in our social adaptation as a species. Otherwise, you just feel awkward and judged.

The time has come to create Outer Urbana as a safe haven for those cast aside by their workplaces and universities. The Patriots are using the mall economy to control the flow of information and profit from the deaths of the arcades who serve them. Honestly that’s kinda what Araiguma is anyway minus the war crimes and nukes

It was fantastic meeting you guys , really feels like home in a way . I’ve been kind of isolated for quite a few years and seeing your group, the vids, etc., really gave me some . Warmth , I was missing for so long . Thank you guys for being so inviting,…

It’s cool to see how much things have grown in even just the past seven months I’ve been around .

I really feel like , I finally found a place where I truly feel at home .  From my first day , feeling like I was so involved and just like I had been there from the start or something . It’s a good feeling and I’m glad to be a part of this future .

This is the coolest shit I’ve ever seen in my life . This is the arcade experience I hear guys talking about on YouTube and I’m living it now .

I never thought in my life there would be a place where I could meet other people and play games with them. This is just so important to me. It needs to be said.

Araiguma really helped make school and life more bearable

If the world is hell we shall construct a heaven to supplant it and Araiguma has done an amazing job adding to the community .

Everybody at the Arcade talks to each other , you could not know anybody , and get asked if you got next and suddenly you’re like friends with someone like you knew them already or something . There are no cliques , you’re just in there .

I remember when I came in I was still really socially awkward And it was still pretty hard to interact with people . But you all took me in without any judgement or animosity And helped me get out of my shell and become comfortable around others .  Araiguma really helped make school and life more bearable .

This is where I found myself . Thanks for that .

I go all over to these different underground spaces and this has absolutely blown me away , this is seriously the coolest place ever .

Some come for competition , some just come to hang ,  you even got people who come out with handhelds and get competitive in old hand console games . It’s absolute love in there .

This place is honestly THE most comfy and awesome looking place I’ve seen for the longest time . Used to work for Namco , so know how rewarding nurturing a community like this is . I love every part of what I see .

I love getting to hang out with all these cool people , playing all these cool games .

Its like kung fu movies you go out , you fight these other people , make a name for yourself , its wild stuff

I really had no idea just how much this space would help me . But its only been a month and it feels like my entire world just changed for the better . I genuinely wasn’t prepared for just how much life it’d breathe back into me .

” Even though I don’t even really like fighting games , is the best atmosphere I’ve ever seen in my life . I wanna live there . “
