10-26-24 – Weekly Update

General :

Special Event Notice ! ! Welcome to Silent Chill ! Candy Potluck ! With doors opening at 2PM we got a full day of action ! Including , a super deluxe House of the Dead setup in The Hall ? !

This is also the return weekend of Pop’n Music ! Great big sound improvement and ambient lighting coming with it too ! This one to become a Hall mainstay

Candy buckets all loaded up thanks to Naomi bringing over a ton of Candy ! Now up to two buckets in the Arcade and one outside of our door

Please remember to enjoy the candy outside our door during the week ! We will keep this fully loaded with lots of good stuff ( multi-national ) till October 31st for any visitors , staff or tenants to the building !

Hardware :

Yet another major donation from Birdland Arcade , 1 of 2 of the missing link for our Sega New Versus City , a JPN 29″ Monitor Frame ! !

We’ve put word out and started the search for the second JPN frame needed for the other side , with both tubes sourced , special thanks to ArcadeRandomPosting for the generous gift of a matching Wells Gardner D9200 monitor to the one we have now , we can begin the final phase of work on this machine !

Gamesoft :

Special thanks to Diana ( SharpKarp on the Discord ) for another round of DLC unlocks for KOF XV characters ! We now have Shingo Yabuki , Kim Kaphwan , Sylvie Paula Paula , Najd , Duo Lon and Hinako Shijo added to the roster of playable characters !
