09/07/24 – Weekly Update

General :

We’re approaching the move in date rapidly ! The lease is being updated to push our start date from September 15th ( Sunday ) to September 14th ( Saturday ) !

There was some uncertainty about being able to being open on September 7th ( Today ! ) , the week before the move but it comes with great delight we were able to announce : Season Finale

The voting was final on Pizza Potluck V.S. Grilling and our winner was Lil Ceasers Pizza Potluck ! ! A crap load of cheap pizza kick in !

This will be the last night here at the Original Location .

Next Good For Health Bad For Education on September 11 will be postponed due to both Versatile Citys needing taken down , tagged and prepped for moving .

Fund Raising :

The Ko-Fi and Patreon have been overhauled to match our current status now that we’re moving ! An announcement on funding goals will be made soon !

The New Location :

Just a status on the new spots construction . Hardwired connection from I3 Fiber is being run to our space for networking and the old holes in the wall from HVAC ducting that was removed are in the process of being closed . The portions of wall with the flaking paint or plaster will be painted over .

There is a thread on Discord at the moment for those looking to sign up to Volunteer to help us move !

Hardware :

We have now fielded a second CPS-III on the Versatile City B ! This is actually the board for the New Versus City , which will take the place as our main 3rd Strike setup ( Streamed ) in the future . Till then we have twice as much 3rd Strike !

A special thanks to Limland for a recent donation that covered the cost of the remainder of the cables we need !

This is a Hardware Update for the new downtown location ! From the Upstairs Hallway , Yams would say , ” Cabs , Couches and Coffee ” ( Our History details ) when detailing the idea for Araguma . We are super happy to be seeing this coming to life !

We will figure out some sort of coffee fund / tip jar to keep the tea , coffee , cup , etc. supply going ! If you like authentic Hotel / Gas Station Coffee , this is it !

Website :

A new Legacy section has been created ! With Araiguma Battle moving into a new chapter , and a drastic one at that , we wanted to preserve our history with a section that includes snapshots of all the legacy pages like original websites ( some are still in the process of migration — any missing images are being added ) , image galleries and more .

This all rolls into Our Timeline / Our History projects very well . This can help others who come to us looking to do the same , have an accessible point of reference . Especially considering how much we grow and where we may end up in the future .
