07/10/23 Weekly Update

Weekly Update ! Going forward we’re going to be doing this . Even if we can only provide , ” No Changes Made ” . 

These will also be posted directly to Discord . 

Air Quality :

Hall is still hot. Box fans have been purchased to prop under the bay door with sheets of wood to block off the sides. Should provide enough circulation with the entrance door open. Rain will effect this as it would have a negative effect with humidity. Alternate plans are in place to address this if the situation arises.

Combination Lamp / Enclosed Air Circulators have been ordered . These will not arrive for 7/15/23 Kids in the Hall . This will resolve the issue discovered during Up To No Good 7 of the Air Conditioning being uneven throughout the lower level . 

Space :

The Marvel Pit has been rearranged and is now much larger . 

This also allowed The Table to be pulled back , opening more space in the main area . Better seating , more standing standing space , more travel space . 

The Head to Head Room has had some cosmetic updates . Minor adjustments to allow for more spectator seating . 

Titles : 

Marvel V.S. Capcom 2 has been added to the Head to Head Setup .

Hardware :

Main Stage ‘BSOD’ on 07/08/23

We have a donor Motherboard / CPU to test on the Main Stage . This has not been checked . Running this weekend as only casuals will be run , to better monitor any possible causes. 

The Pop’n Music setup has software enabled but still requires some additional code to remedy current control issues . It is possible this will be remedied this Saturday . If not , it can be expected for the following Saturday . 

The evaluation RTX 3060 on loan to Araiguma is still within the evaluation period . This Saturday we have agreed to have an answer as to if we will purchase at the discounted rate . Thankfully were given an extension of this period due to closures . To note , the previous card installed , a GTX960 had failed during Up To No Good 7 .

Other :

A few have come forward with hardware donations that can be made in terms of Motherboards , CPUs and GPUs . These are always welcome , and incredibly helpful for keeping everything running . Thank you !

Cups / Paper Towels stock is good . We should have enough for the next two to three weeks depending on attendance , thank you to those who have donated !
