05/11/24 – Weekly Update

General :

This weekend , The Guilty Grad Tournament celebrating the end of the school year and Miss Karp’s graduation with four brackets !

Shoutouts to the rest of you for surviving another gauntlet of Finals , this Saturday is for you too . Well done !

Looking at a high of 71 , and no rain the night before or day of , so no humidly to fuck with us . Shoutouts to Naomi for donating the big tornado tower fan , it’s been a huge help in the Upstairs Hall ! 

Something else to note , we do have Ducks now , please don’t bother them at this time , how tempting it might be ! They are under a very slow rehab after a horribly long period of neglect and abuse , and are enjoying a nice rest ! Once things settle down for them , they can have visitors ! 

Signs also now showing , both front and rear gates MUST be kept closed after use . 

The rear gate is now locked and unable to be used . Sorry for the Meijer runs ! It is for the safety of the Ducks . 

Space :

The Upstairs Hall Monitor has been upgraded to a slimmer less heat producing model that displays full screen and a much better picture . Audio has also been routed to this display !

Station Letters have added to all cabs and setups . Station A being The Main Stage , B and C are the ” Couch Setups ” with their identifiers on the rear of the monitors . Station D , E , F and G are all cabs in the Upstairs Hall . This will help us step it up with more tournaments happening . 

Hardware :

The Blanc’s aka future Main Stage Cabs are now live and operational !

The Blanc’s now have full USB controller support for those who play on pad with conveniently located ports .

Main Stage Volume is now set to control only from this location , marked . The old volume control has been locked out . This keeps the broadcast audio from being effected by adjustments . All handling from there is done at The Cage .

Main stage had no issues last Saturday in the MVCI bracket , time stamps on the USB logs checked , no issues at all . Last weeks resolution has corrected issues with some controllers . 

Broadcast :

The broadcast computer has been upgraded , allowing for better video/capture quality . USB handling has also been upgraded , the H2H Room Mic is back .

The dedicated 3rd Strike YouTube Stream camera has been adjusted to a better angle and made adjustments to the video capture , along with a border around the gameplay making it a lot better viewability .
