03/29/24 – Weekly Update

General :

Happy Colorful Egg Weekend everyone! 

We’re unfortunately having to cancel this Saturday due to a Snorlax blocking the path .

Plans to update the floor plan of the Upstairs Hall have been postponed due to sickness but will be happening once everyone is better !

We do have a few good things to announce at least for when we return on April 6th !

Hardware :

King of Fighters 2002 ( NEO GEO MVS ) is now supported on the Versatile City B ( Previously FB NEO ) ! Thanks to an incredibly generous donation allowing us the purchase of a Supergun with USB decoders built in !

This update to change from PC to the MVS comes with all the benefit of moving from 30th Anniversary Collection on PC with 3rd Strike to the CPS-III . The smoothness and incredibly playability difference is now benefited with all MVS titles . This is 100% the most accurate and competitive way to play . 

^This has been updated to say we are not outright replacing King of Fighters 2002 UM , poor wording had made it sound this way . UM is having issues at the time this was written and during this week is not available downstairs but working in the Upstairs Hall ( Hopefully news on this for next weeks update ) .

This system will also allow us head to head battle of many other titles for casuals and tournament such as Twinkle Star Sprites , Neo Turf Masters , Neo Bomberman , Breakers Revenge and more !

The two new cab additions of the Namco Blancs are now playable ! Currently all supported titles playable except Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 at this time . There is still much to be done to our new Main Stage cabs but we can at least start throwing down on them now .
