03/08/24 – Weekly Update

General :

In for a cold Saturday ! But gearing up for the warmer season , we’re working on getting more chairs for outdoor kick it sessions and the upcoming grilling weather ! It’s also midterm season so hang in there and don’t hesitate to ask friends for help !

This is also the launch weekend of Soul Calibur 2 ! Conquest Mode is still not ready , but expected the Saturday after this to be operational ! 

Space :

With the playable completion of the Soul Calibur 2 machine , some machines have been rearranged in the Upstairs Hall . Pop’n Music and SC2 have traded places . DDR has been moved to allow smoother door traffic .

This is not the final arrangement , the future plan is to move the Marvel 2 machine upstairs, scoot the Blanc’s down and put SC2 on that wall . Then DDR machine to move to the far back wall against the bay door . 

Hardware :

3rd Strike is now on a DVR . Match footage will be available . 

Broadcast Computer USB Controller Card has been updated from 2x10gbps channels to 4x10gbps channels . Scene switching / Broadcast control is now possible from the control deck . 

SQ/G-BALANCE Linked Cabs have the GPU upgraded . Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 can now run on Hi-Spec modes .

The Viewlixes have had an SSD upgrade and now have every title they will run ( everything except MK1 / Tekken 8 ) installed,

Cabs to the right of the SQ/G-BALANCE have had a graphics upgrade from a GTX 660 to GTX 1050ti and now have every title they will run ( everything except MK1 / Tekken 8 / SF6 ) installed .

Title Updates :

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection
Mortal Kombat 1

All setups / Cabs Titles are now up to date . 

Media :

Playlists have default video order updated to Date Published ( Newest ) and are now in order . Playlist descriptions have been added .

Bonus Meijer Update :

Changed the recipe of the Lobster Mac and Cheese . It’s still good . But not as good .
