02/22/25 – Weekly Update

General :

It’s been some great times and the warm weather is coming ! With that , during much work on the space we now have storage to bring out our yakitori grill ! No , not for grilling inside . We can soon hang out in the alley once more !

We are also now selling drinks !

Prices listed on the door . At present you can pay via Paypal or Cash / Coin ( we don’t have change at this time ! ) but should have a tap/chip soon ! Just remember , please no drinks on any of the equipment and if you spill please clean up after yourself =D

We currently stock Monster Nitro , Monster Import , BOSS BLACK , BOSS Brave ( Limited Offer ! ) , BOSS Winning Hand ( Limited Offer ! ) , Choya Yuzu and Choya Ume ( Choya makes soft drinks too ! ) . We made an effort to cater to the arcade heads with drinks you can’t get anywhere else in this city , that we think will really fuel an even better experience .

We have also removed the old public fridge , and this being a difficult to reach area we can use for storage that once took up space in the isles , so there is now more space for spectating . Do note , the area has been cleared enough to keep the sink accessible for filling water bottles ( this is difficult in the bathroom sinks ) . When the old public fridge is repaired , we plan to use this to bring to bring to events outside the arcade and building .

There is an additional mini fridge in the staff area , while normally for staff use , when we start grilling again this can be used to store any meats , cheeses or other items reducing the need for coolers .

Space :

New updates to the North side bathroom ! Much more friendly and inviting !

The giant wood table has also finally been removed along with many other things ! During our hours we will start setting up slim folding tables here !

Room 28 also has been further cleared ,

No updates on level B1 flooring remodel, but will let everyone know what the idea is once the building gets that far . Lots to go over !

Games will be chosen via NFC Cards , at random , not even the T.O. knows what title will be chosen . Trophies and prizes awarded for top three and a door prize drawn at random from bracket participants ! And we’ve got teasers from the T.O. below :

This isn't a regular bracket prize, so I'm just going to say it outright! I have a box of Russell Stover chocolates to give as a door prize to a random bracket participant! We'll roll for the winner of this one upon confirming all registered participants are present.

Hardware :

The Hall Station now has an on-board controller option ! Built in to the station , you can easily unplug from the 1P and 2P ports on the front of the cart and plug in your own . This is great for people who do not have a controller or depending on the session , don’t want to use their usual controller and a gamepad instead .

The SC2 DVR has been moved , and expanded . Now able to record all gameplay from any of the US machines ! This is done to support future scoring events and other planned competitions .
