02/15/25 – Weekly Update

General :

Lots of updates ! More and more finding out about us and a lot of cool collaborations coming up in the future ! We’re also have way through February , meaning more chances for a warm grilling day coming up next month ( which is still winter , but there is a chance ! ) !

Events :

We have many events currently being planned , including several finalized with coming announcements .

Not yet announced but on the Calendar , we have the MiSTery Bracket run by T.O. Warp Rattler ! Anyone who has done of these before knows she always has something cool planned for these . This will be next Saturday , Feb 22nd ! Details coming soon !

Today is also Ultra Fight Night 3 ! A Date With Destiny ! Starting at 6:00 PM ! Pay what you can/want for entry , donates directly to the arcade . Currently at 8 signups , if we make it to 16 the $25 pot bonus will DOUBLE to $50 . In addition , at 16 entrants , payouts will go to top 5 !

Space :

We have a new donation box ! One which will allow you to be granted blessings for strong play in competition for the day . To use , please make a donation either online via the QR code or using the slot in the box . Clap twice then ring the bell to ensure the blessings of this stores kami !

We now have on hand , a Soul Calibur 2 Players Guide ! This is for the PlayStation 2 version ( Only Japan got arcade guides ! ) which is closest to the arcade version ( built on a similar platform ) . It is located in a cardstock backed plastic sleeve . Please remember to return this to the sleeve when done and place next to the DVR so we can keep it in good shape and use , but do not hesitate to use this ! It is here to be used .

More network infrastructure has been run . Our connections to The Hall have been made . Next to be run is video feed for capture . These updates are being made to support future events as we are growing .

Broadcast :

The old side stream graphics we have been using for the last 4 months have been changed over ! A new 4:3 version ,

Hardware :

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Unlimited has been upgraded from low to high resolution ! Moving from VGA to HDMI ,

Thursday night the up switch on the 2P side lever had failed , this has now been replaced .

The DVR for Soul Calibur 2 has also been installed ! ! We have made some changes after many test runs and found the correct hardware configuration to get our best footage . We will begin recording today and uploading set footage to Araiguma Battle Movie

We also discovered another issue with the 2P side of Station A ( The 2P Namco Blanc ) which has now been resolved . This was a failing USB encoder . It has now been replaced on not one but both sides .
